The problem with this is that if the police instead argue that you are mentally ill -- they need NO proof or evidence to do this -- then all is lost and they can do anything they please.

So much for the myth of civil rights....

Hmm; that would be troubling. But they still would have to show some proof or a DA would be all over their case.
