Keeping in mind that the mission of Big Journalism is to 'hold the MSM's feet to the fire,' what happened to Dr. Rand Paul, after his interview with Rachel Maddow, constituted bloggable material for Mr. Breitbart, et. al. So here's what I wrote, for Big J (with an assist from the feisty Daily Paul site), about this blatant breach of journalistic ethics on Maddow/MSNBC's part. Rand seems like a well-spoken, honest, hardworking family man who favors small g (government). His primary victory speaks volumes; rightly dubbed a "randslide."
But now that he's a national figure, with a huge target on his back, Rand needs to be wary, not accomodating, of the media. He might consider following this savvy advice: "Behold, I send you out as sheep in the midst of wolves; so be shrewd as serpents and innocent as doves."*
