A U.S. Border Patrol agent named Brian Terry (pictured) was killed in a firefight near the southern border (Arizona) earlier this week. The perps are being described as bandits who prey on illegal aliens.Terry was 40 years old and a Marine who grew up in Wayne County, Michigan. He is survived by his parents and three siblings who were expecting him home for the holidays. Condolences to the family. It's going to be a very, very tough Christmas for these poor people.
Update: One of the individuals/illegal aliens apprehended - Manuel Arianes - has a record of arrest and prosecution in the United States.
