Defining Maine as peaceful and low-crime presumes you don't include those towns that the Somali refugees were dumped in. The Somalis have proved to be a disaster for those communities that were unfortunate to have been chosen to "host" them.
Actually I think it presumes that - this is an overall ranking and what state in the US doesn't have some degree of liberal social engineering disrupting the status quo.

ReplyDeleteNo, Izzy, Lewiston and Portland are a mess. Bangor is the size of Northampton and has something like FOUR Methadone Clinics at this point.
