Will the real isolationists please stand out?

In the last two GOP presidential debates, the topic of Cuba and the Castro regime have come up. A little variety in the discussion is certainly welcome ... and revealing. In general, the three neocons - Mitt, Newt, Rick - support the trade and travel sanctions. But 'the old guy' who is frequently derided as an isolationist, by his opponents and the establishment conservative media, says the Cold War is over; Cuba is not going to attack the United States.

Goodbye embargo. Hello vacations in Havana. If only ...

A majority of Americans, including Latinos, also want to normalize relations with Cuba, but South Florida's powerful, Old Guard anti-Castro lobby gets to have the last word on this issue ... for now.

Que lastima.

Apparently the GOP "conservatives" agree with Emerson, "A foolish consistency is the hobgoblin of little minds."
